Wild Flowers : Most of these images will be close-up type images to display the beauty of the flower, so be sure to visit the "Landscape Gallery for other images of wild flowers growing in their native habitat.

Native Orchids : Minnesota's orchids will grow in almost all types of habitats - wet prairies, coniferous forests, boreal forests, spruce tamaracks bogs and many other areas. I think that this is one of the reasons that I spend considerable amount of time from spring to fall pursuing these delicate flowers. All images were taken in Minnesota with a few from Western Wisconsin.

Other Botany : The forest floor is filled with many other botanical subjects besides flowers. This gallery showcases those subjects.
